The Tournament

The 1975 Masters Tournament was played on the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The course was in excellent condition, and the weather was perfect for golf. The tournament was a four-day event, with the final round being played on Sunday, April 13.

Nicklaus, Miller, and Weiskopf were all in contention for the lead throughout the tournament. Nicklaus shot a 68 in the first round, and he followed that up with rounds of 69 and 70. Miller shot a 67 in the first round, and he followed that up with rounds of 70 and 69. Weiskopf shot a 69 in the first round, and he followed that up with rounds of 70 and 68.

The Playoff

The playoff was played on the 10th hole at Augusta National. Nicklaus, Miller, and Weiskopf all hit good drives, and they were all left with short irons into the green. Nicklaus hit his approach shot to within 10 feet of the hole, Miller hit his approach shot to within 12 feet of the hole, and Weiskopf hit his approach shot to within 15 feet of the hole.

Nicklaus was the first to putt, and he made his putt for birdie. Miller was next, and he also made his putt for birdie. Weiskopf was the last to putt, and he missed his putt for birdie. This gave Nicklaus the victory in the playoff, and he won the 1975 Masters Tournament.
