The Carson Wentz Experiment

Carson Wentz was drafted by the Eagles with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was expected to be the franchise quarterback for years to come. However, Wentz has been injured frequently and has not lived up to expectations. He has thrown for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons, but he has also thrown a lot of interceptions. In 2019, Wentz suffered a season-ending injury in Week 14. Nick Foles replaced Wentz and led the Eagles to a playoff berth, but they lost in the Wild Card Round.

The Eagles traded Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts in the offseason. They received a first-round pick and a second-round pick in return. The Colts believe that Wentz can be their franchise quarterback, but it remains to be seen if he can stay healthy and live up to his potential.

The Nick Foles Era

Nick Foles has been a fan favorite in Philadelphia since he led the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory in 2018. However, Foles is not a long-term solution at quarterback. He is 32 years old and has a history of injuries. The Eagles need to find a young quarterback who can be their franchise quarterback for the next decade.

The Eagles have a number of options at quarterback. They could draft a quarterback with their first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. They could also sign a free agent quarterback, such as Jameis Winston or Andy Dalton. The Eagles need to make a decision on their quarterback situation soon. They need to find a quarterback who can lead them back to the playoffs.

The Doug Pederson Era

Doug Pederson has been the head coach of the Eagles since 2016. He led the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory in 2018, but the team has struggled in recent years. Pederson has a 42-37-1 record as the Eagles' head coach. He was named the NFL Coach of the Year in 2017. However, the Eagles have missed the playoffs in three of the past four seasons. Pederson is under pressure to turn things around in 2021.

The Eagles have a lot of talent on their roster. They have a young defense that is led by Fletcher Cox and Darius Slay. They also have a number of offensive weapons, including Jalen Reagor, DeVonta Smith, and Miles Sanders. If the Eagles can find a quarterback who can lead them, they have the potential to be a Super Bowl contender again.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the most successful teams in the NFL over the past two decades. However, they have struggled in recent years. The Eagles need to find a quarterback who can lead them back to the playoffs. They also need to improve their defense and special teams. If the Eagles can make some changes, they have the potential to be a Super Bowl contender again.
