Initially embarrassed and humiliated, Lara Jean reluctantly agrees to pretend to be Peter's girlfriend to make his ex-girlfriend, Gen (Emilija Baranac),jealous. However, as they spend more time together, Lara Jean begins to develop real feelings for Peter.
Meanwhile, Josh also falls for Lara Jean, and the two share a passionate kiss. Lara Jean is torn between her feelings for Peter and Josh, and she must decide who she truly loves.
